Glow Garden is a beautiful park of lights and interactive fun in Dubai. It has been opened for a few years and is a great place to visit if you are looking for a lovely place to visit in the evening especially if you have children with you.
The park is home to a range of different illuminated creations from artists all over the world. The park hosts a range of different interactive shows, performances and events. It is also next door to a Dinosaur Park and Ice Park.
The park is only open during the cooler winter months and so is currently closed and will be opened again in October 2018. You cannot bring food from outside the park. There are lots of vendors and stalls selling different street food and snacks throughout. For information check out their website – http://www.dubaigardenglow.com/index.php
We ended up visiting Glow Garden after we tried to visit the Miracle Garden and found it to be closed. I visited with just adults and found the park although beautiful it was was a little childish. We only spent around 45 minutes in the park but I think if you had children with you they would find it much more entertaining and have fun interacting with the arts.
Getting There: The park is located in Zabeel Park in central Dubai. Easy to access by taxi and lots of free parking if you are driving. The closest metro station is the Al Jafiliya Metro Station on the Red Line and is about a ten minute walk away.
Price: It costs 60 AED (around £12) to enter the Glow Garden. This ticket will also give you entry to the Dinosaur Park. You will need an additional ticket for the Ice Park. The ticket for the Glow Garden is pricey for what it is but have a look out for offers which they sometimes have. Children under 3 can enter for free.
Final Thoughts: As I mentioned earlier I think the park is more suited for children and so is a lovely way to spend an evening in Dubai if you are visiting with children. In my opinion it is pricey for what it is so I would recommend looking out for offers and then visiting.
