Covered: Brioche Burger – London

***This place has now sadly shut down***

I love brunch and am always on the look out for great Halal brunch places. One of my favorites has got to be the brunch at Brioche Burger. Brioche Burger are known of course for their burgers but for me their brunch menu is even better than their burgers. Their brunch menu has top quality dishes that are completely Halal and really delicious.

Getting There: Brioche Burger is located on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. Parking near by can be difficult. There are a few parking bays near by where you can park for a short time but this is very limited. The near by Selbourne Walk shopping centre has paid for parking and is only a 5 minute walk away.

Otherwise Brioche Burger is very easy to get to using public transport. It is a 5 minute walk from Walthamstow Central Station on the Victoria Line. It is also close to Walthamstow Queens Road station on London Overground. A number of busses pass by including the 97, 34 and 275.

There is another branch in East Shopping Centre in Greet Street but I am not sure whether they serve brunch at that branch so would recommend contacting them if you are going there for brunch.

Design and Vibe: I personally like the interior design of Brioche Burger. It is very simple with old school vibes including vintage arcade games and classic Victorian tiles that they discovered when refurbishing. The vibe is relaxed and staff are lovely. You can easily sit for a few hours enjoying your brunch and catching up with friends or family.

Menu and Pricing: The brunch menu is great and has different sweet and savoury dishes. Some of the savoury dishes include the full english, eggs royale and sweet chilli avocado toast. On the sweet side their fluffy buttermilk pancakes are so good 😀 They also have a range of hot and cold drinks.

I personally find the pricing to be reasonable. The food is of very good quality and presented  well. The meat used is HMC approved and no alcohol is sold on the premises. On a side note if you need to pray they are usually happy to give you a quiet corner to pray in Alhamdullilah 😀

What I ordered: I personally ordered the eggs royale (£8.95) while my friend went for the english breakfast (£11.95). We then shared the orange curd pancakes (£9.75) which were so delicious! We also ordered fresh orange juice  (£3.95).

Final Thoughts: I really enjoy the brunch at Brioche Burger and would highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for good quality Halal brunch. The only down side is that they only serve the brunch menu on weekends from 10:30 – 2:00 pm.
